Bereavement Support – Let’s talk

As a member of the AOIC (Associate of Independent Celebrants), I am able to put you in touch with a service run by the association called Grief Chat. We know that in times of distress and sadness that it’s never easy to allow yourself to grieve and sometimes we don’t know where to begin or who to turn to when we want to talk to someone.

Their service is remarkable and I only wish that I had known about them when my mum died. To be able to contact someone when you are so bereft, would have really helped me when I was at my lowest ebb. The service is practically instant and that in itself is a comfort as we normally would have to be on a waiting list, just for the consultation.

So, Grief Chat is a service that offers emotional help and support for bereaved people, access to trained bereavement counsellors and referral into other specialist bereavement services.
